But this October barring, say, a real apocalypese Fallout 3 is finally_arriving, & for consoles as vvell as PC this time. And it looks better_every time we see it.

With original developer_publisher Interplay in limbo, Bethesda, mak­ers_of 2006s outstanding The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, are helming_this 1 & have given it a modern_facelift, turning the formerly isomet­ric, turn_based game into a stunning first_person affair. Dedicated fans needn't fret, though: Bethesda's reimagined_Fallout's singular look faith­fully, & recent demos_have proven that_the combat while more action-heavy _still allovvs for the tactical decision_making that helped make_the originals so great. Fallout 3 has lots of haters in the fan_community, but vve're hopeful. After 10 years of vvaiting, vve vvant to believe.
